Referring a Patient

Health_ProfessionalsYour patients' health is our top priority, and we strive to accept same day appointments when necessary. When you refer a patient to CVA, they will be given the opportunity to see one of our cardiologists in clinic and have any recommended non-invasive diagnostic testing performed during the same visit in an effort to provide a positive patient experience with less wait time and reduced number of trips to our office. To speak with our scheduling staff, call (205) 510-5000 and press 1.

Educational Meetings

Our physicians have a passion for sharing their knowledge and expertise about the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. We hold several events at our Main Campus throughout the year to educate and share knowledge with a wide range of healthcare providers, colleagues, patients, and community.

The annual Cardiovascular Update, presented by the CVA Medical Education Foundation, is structured to provide a concise and relevant review of the past year's developments and recommendations for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease. It is our goal that primary care physicians, specialists, and other health care providers will find this meeting to be an effective and enjoyable venue to update their cardiovascular knowledge. Healthcare providers throughout Alabama and the Southeast region are invited to attend.

Visit cvupdate.org for more information on the annual CV Update event.
