Enrolling studies for patient portal:

• CREST 2 - Carotid Revascularization and Medical Management for Asymptomatic Carotid Artery Stenosis. This study will compare intensive medical management to surgical management or stenting of the carotid artery.
• TRANSCEND - Study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational drug-coated balloon catheter, Surmodics SurVeil(r), in the treatment of narrowing within an artery in the thigh. The trial will test how well the SurVeil(r) performs compared to the FDA approved Medtronic drug coated balloon catheter.
• ORION-4 - Study for subjects with elevated cholesterol who are currently on statin lower medication or intolerant to statins, to determine whether lowering LDL cholesterol with a subcutaneous injection of study medication every six months, can prevent vascular events in high risk patients with known arterial disease.
